How we have longed for Microsoft 365 Copilot – and now the wait is over! At least for the larger companies that have an Enterprise agreement, today Copilot is released to these.
This means that Copilot will now be integrated with other Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dynamics 365 etc.
What is Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is your AI assistant at work, an AI-based productivity tool that coordinates large language models (LLMs), Microsoft Graph content, and the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more.
Some examples of what will be possible with Microsoft 365 Copilot:
Copilot in Outlook
Keep track of your inbox and create striking communications in no time at all. Summarize email threads to get key information, “Sound like me” feature to match your unique writing style/voice when Copilot writes emails for you. Follow a Teams meeting afterwards via Outlook.
Copilot in Word
Helps you in the writing process to be both more creative and efficient. Get short summaries or in-depth summaries such as bulleted lists of documents, get help to rewrite texts with multiple options and suggestions on the tone you want to use e.g. casual or professional. Save time formatting text by letting Copilot create tables from your copy.
Copilot in Excel
Analyze and visualize data like a professional data analyst. Copilot helps you analyze, edit and format data to gain a deeper understanding of your insights. Highlight key data and give a prompt ex. “make all cells red where the value is below 100”. Sort and filter data and ask questions to gain insights. Create professional visualizations, make forecasts and save time.
Copilot in OneNote
Helps you to be organized and prepared. Gain deeper insights into your notes by asking questions e.g. “What are the pros/cons of this process?”. Get summaries of your content. You can also get your content sorted into e.g. paragraphs or bulleted lists. Make your writing more clear or efficient with a quick Copilot edit.
Copilot in OneDrive
Helps you find insights and information without opening a file. Ask Copilot questions related to individual files or get summaries of file content.
