With about a month at Zelly, it’s high time to say a warm welcome to Zacharias Dale, who has now come on board with us in the role of Head of Modern Work and Security.
In his role, Zacharias has overall responsibility for how we at Zelly develop and deliver modern, secure and scalable solutions – with a focus on technology, processes and people. It’s as much about creating structure and clarity internally as it is about supporting our customers in making their digital workplace and security work in practice.
Zacharias has been working in IT for many years and has gained a lot of experience along the way. The journey has included everything from building e-commerce warehouses with full automation, to complex infrastructure migration projects, team management and supporting customers in challenging environments. Often where the conditions may not have been the best, but where it has still been possible to sort out, structure and make things work.
– That’s the mix I love: structure, problem solving and good people,” says Zacharias.
Over the years, he has worked in several different roles, including project manager, technician, TAM and most recently as Team Manager for IT consultants. This has given him the ability to both dive into technical details when needed and at the same time keep the whole together when many parts have to work together. He values speed, clarity and teamwork, as well as creating an environment where people develop and feel that their efforts really make a difference.
Outside of work, the family takes center stage, preferably combined with a keen interest in food. Zacharias likes to spend time in the kitchen, geeking out on everything from really good ingredients to different cooking techniques. In his younger days, he was also a DJ, which has given him the patience for high sound levels, late nights and… varied song requests, to say the least.
In recent years, he has also found a calmer interest in photography and nature, a nice contrast to the pace of everyday life. But at heart, Zacharias is a social person who thrives when people laugh together and work towards common goals that feel meaningful.
– It has been a really good start at Zelly and it feels inspiring to be part of the team. It’s a fast pace, a lot of commitment and a drive that is contagious. I look forward to continuing to contribute with energy and experience, develop together with the team and create value both internally and for our customers, Zacharias concludes.
