Within Microsoft Teams, there are several features for sharing information with both internal colleagues and with external parties. The ability to invite internal and external parties is vital for collaboration via Microsoft Teams.
The purpose of Teams Governance is to standardize, automate and simplify the creation of Microsoft Teams groups in accordance with security settings within the Microsoft 365 environment. With Teams Governance, we ensure that the demarcation between internal and external teams is done in an automated and controlled way, so that the right information is shared in the right way.
The value of Teams Governance
Team Governance locks the ability to create Teams groups for a regular user, but with the Teams + App you can apply for a Team that the manager can approve.
Administrators have full rights to create new Teams.
Teams created via Teams Governance are based on a predefined template that we create together with you according to your needs.
The template can contain everything from the desired folder structure to applications such as OneNote and Planner (with or without predefined tasks) that are automatically installed in the team.
Teams Governance ensures that the organization has control that teams that exist are still current and that access is correct.
Through access reviews, it is possible to review the teams where external persons still have access. The external persons who have not been active within the team will automatically be removed by the system.
Retention policies help the organization to automatically delete/archive the teams where there is no activity.
